Intro to Wheel | Dec M/W 5-8 PM

December 1st, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 10th, and 15th - pick up on the 17th
If you've been curious if you can work on the wheel, or even have experience from 30 years ago and wondering if you've still got it (honestly, it's like riding a bike..you Don't forget) then this class is for you! This month-long class spans six class dates on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-8 PM. Class dates are December 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, and 15 (glaze). Due to a tight schedule, there will be no time for makeups and participants must attend all six classes. Pick up is December 17th
Beginner Wheel | January | M/W/F 3-5 PM

January 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, and 28th | Pick up 31st
Come learn how to throw basic cylinders on the potter's wheel. This is a monthly, Monday/Wednesday evening course. Includes 4 hours drop in Friday (3-5 PM). Price includes 16 hours instruction, clay, glazes and firings to make up to 8 (5" sized vessels), Anything aside from this must be discussed with me prior to firing. Each class begins with a 20 minute shared discussion on students background in clay, specifics of what you'd like to learn and need assistance with. Ages 14+
Intermediate Wheel | Jan M/W 5:30-7:30 PM

January 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, and 28th | Pick up 31st
Refine your wheel-throwing skills and expand your creative range. This is a monthly, Monday/Wednesday evening course for students who are comfortable centering clay and throwing basic cylinders. We’ll focus on improving consistency, exploring new forms, and experimenting with altering, trimming, and glazing techniques.
Includes 4 hours of drop-in studio time on Fridays (5:30-7:30 PM). Price includes 16 hours of instruction, clay, glazes, and firings for up to 8 medium-sized pieces (approximately 5" each). Additional or oversized work must be discussed prior to firing. Each class begins with a 20-minute group discussion to share progress, goals, and specific skills you’d like to develop. Ages 14+.
