About Me

Attending Walkersville schools from first grade on has profoundly shaped my educational journey. My exceptional teachers instilled in me critical thinking, resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and creativity. These qualities fueled my passion for the arts, education, science and business which are all integral to my studio. As a lifelong volunteer, my studio is in a small way giving back to the community.

Experience

Ceramics (8 years) Casper College, Wyoming

Maco glaze class Continental Clay, Denver

Home Studio (10 years)

Art Teacher (3 years) Private School, Wyoming

Substitute Teacher (4 years, Elementary level, Wyoming

VP (Business owner) 1995-2017, Wyoming

Associates Degree in Elementary Education with a strong Science minor

My studies at Casper College allowed me the opportunity

to engage in every aspect imaginable in the study of ceramics. Our studio was very unique, very large, giving us the ability to learn endlessly. Not just throwing on the wheel and handbuilding, but making molds, jewelry, glaze making (tedious testing and manipulating), slab rolling, raku (special glaze/firing technique)...just to name a few!

Perhaps, one day but a dream for now.....
